Day 3: I am thankful for my Husband.
I could probably be thankful for my Husband everyday...and I so am! But today especially! PB spent the entire day cleaning our house { while I sewed my tush off! } !! He didn't complain. He didn't act annoyed. He cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. The house looks amazing! I am so thankful!

Day 2: I am thankful that a credit I have been waiting for and working on for what seems like forever, finally went through!
This may seem silly, but for my family this is huge! You see, I lost my job in early September. Which although is an awful thing, truly it was for the best and I have not once been sad about it. I hated that job. And I could not be happier not working there. The environment was toxic and the upper management and owners had no clue what they were doing. But that's what happens when you have zero business experience. Anyway, they 'let me go' because of a situation that was totally falsified...but I had known for awhile { because I am super observant } that they wanted to find a way to get rid of me. So in late August my Manager asked if I was pregnant... I did say yes, but this was the first time I had vocalized it to anyone there. This was also right before I went on 'vacation', where I headed back to Ohio for the birth of my niece, Emerson, and to stay with my sister to help out with Coen as they got used to having two kids in the house. Well the day I got back, all the big wigs were in the store and low and behold... they 'let me go' for the falsified situation. I truly believe it was because I was pregnant. But either way, I could not be happier to not be working there any longer. :)Reactions: |
With the holidays quickly approaching and the season of Giving Thanks upon us, I have decided to partake in '30 Days of Thankfulness'. I have so much to be thankful for this holiday season, especially the bundle of joy that is on it's way (due November 19). So for the month of November I will post something I am thankful for daily.
Day 1: I am thankful for being pregnant.Although it was a lot to bare in the beginning, I truly could not be more excited! I think PB (my husband) really helps with that because he has been so excited the whole time! Earlier this week when we went to the doctor, she was going to check to see if I am dilated at all and PB (although he would kill me for sharing this...) teared up a bit. It was so special :) Here I thought I was the only one that was so emotional about everything. We don't know what we are having or when it will make its debut but we are excited! And anxiously waiting to find out if it's a boy or girl! Either way, I know we will love it whole-heartedly!
